This is the all-time classic soft French cheese, superb with crusty bread or perhaps on Adamson oatcake. This really is a magnificent Brie – the bloomy exterior hides a full-on, vegetal, oozing, straw coloured centre. It is robust, with a wide range of deep flavours, and is matured to perfection. Our Brie comes from the Dongé family farm in Triconville, their dairy was founded in 1930 by the grandfather of the current owners.
As per tradition, and in order to maintain the rich and creamy texture of the end product, the curds for Brie de Meaux are treated very gently – hand ladled into their moulds where they drain without pressing.
